How I came to photograph Chris and Christina's wedding is one of the best and most random ones I have! Years ago when I was a waitress in Manchester I met Christina's mum in the restaurant I was working in. I told her I was studying photography at the time and must have given her my email address (probably on a napkin!). Fast forward 4 years and I get an email from her saying her daughter's getting married, am I still a photographer and would I be interested?! Needless to say I was very surprised to hear from you and impressed she'd kept my details for so long..
Chris & Christina's day was an elegant affair which centred around those that were present, and those they wished could be - all at the beautiful Knowsley Hall in Prescot.
Here's a selection of their wedding photographs, and thanks so much to you both for your kind words...
"Our wedding day was the most happy and wonderful day of our lives and Florence has managed to capture the atmosphere and feeling of the day so naturally. She was a true professional and we felt so comfortable having Florence around throughout the day, from getting ready to dancing the night away. As did all our guests who commented on her friendliness and adaptability. No request was too much or too difficult and all the specifics we asked for were achieved for us to a higher standard than we could have hoped. Florence has managed to capture expressions of us, and our friends and families that we know so well, and every single photo conjures up wonderful emotions, feelings and memories of the day. We absolutely love the pictures you have produced and each time we look at them we are even happier with them than the last. The true variety of formal, natural and candid shots and the fact that all the key parts of the day are captured make the collection even more representative of the occasion. We are so grateful for all of her hard work and would recommend her to any couple needing a wedding photographer or a photographer for any other occasion too, come to think of it! We hope to be able to work with her again in the future and wish her all the luck in her world for her career, she is a wonderful photographer and deserves every success. Thank you so much Florence."
