Much Wenlock Church Wedding & Marquee Field Reception in Shropshire

"We have no hesitation in highly recommending Florence, she was a star from the first Skype conversation. Her relaxed and calming influence made her a joy to be around at our wedding, with many of the guests commenting on how lovely she is. We could not be more delighted with our photos, they perfectly capture the day, with Florence going the extra mile to take photos of our ponies in a rain soaked paddock too! Thank you!" These guys were my first wedding of the May bank holiday and although they had the misfortune of the worst weather i've ever had at a wedding this by NO means it was a drizzly day! In fact it almost reinforced their english fete themed wedding even more.

We started the morning at Rebecca's parents house and travelled over to the intimate church in Much Wenlock to a service lead by my favourite Vicar (he's even on TV!!). After a very wet brolly walk to the next door field they greeted their guests with pints of Shropshire Lad and lots of hugs. The inside of the marquee was decorated beautifully with handmade bunting all by Rebecca, fantastic little touches and a board game table. They even had a bowling alley as an ode to their first date! Instead of a stuffy dinner they opted for afternoon tea with an abundance of coffee, cake and sandwiches and then had the speeches in a very laid back way. After that the day rolled on with lots of games - all very informal. We even managed to slip off to get some misty photos with Rebeccas beautiful ponies which I loved - a bride not afraid to don some wellies and hitch her dress up is OK in my book...

I love weddings like this where they are SO laid back and just all about everyone celebrating together. If you're planning a marquee wedding in Shropshire do get in touch!
