Shropshire Tipi Wedding - Emily & Johan - Wedding Photographer in Shropshire

Just look at these two beautiful faces!! I had such a brilliant time filming and photographing Emily & Johan’s wedding in August, along with my ace second shooter Faye Green. They had a ceremony at Old Downton Lodge in the beautiful old mill room and then enjoyed some delicious canapes on the lawn before heading to their tipi reception just outside Bromfield near Ludlow.

As soon as I walked into the tipi it was so clear how much work they’d put in creating a laid back and unique space for their guests. On each table was a little picnic basket filled with goodies for their wedding breakfast, and they even had homemade wine (decorated with photos from their engagement shoot with me!) The whole day was very relaxed, and as day turned into evening and they lit the fires and the music started up it was like a proper little festival.

Costwolds Field of Dreams Wedding Photography

“Florence...there are literally no words to explain how incredibly grateful we are for the wonderful photo’s and video you have captured. We’ve watched the video at least 10 times and flicked through the all the brilliant images numerous of times. We love the slide show you created, that was a really nice touch! Even the way you packaged up the printed pictures and USB key was absolutely beautiful.

Every time we look at them we’re transported back to our magical day we had 6 weeks ago. We’ve been wishing to go back to that day ever since hit reality but now since getting all the footage back we can go back and relive every moment :)

You really are the best photographer out there and we absolutely love your work, your so accommodating, fun and just an awesome person! We’ve couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our day for us

Thank you thank you thank you! P.S. your thank you gift is on it’s way to you!”

Tipi Festival Wedding in Shropshire - Ame & Simon

Wow where do I even begin with this epic wedding?! Ame & Simon did everything totally their way and I loved every minute of it. They had a Mexican food van, a bar and a tipi set up in their field and had a really chilled out and relaxed day - no speeches, no first dance, no cake cut, no table plan, no formalities! They also had their humanist ceremony on the island where they got engaged which was really special. Ame's nephew George drove everyone down in the tractor which was the coolest way I've ever travelled to a ceremony!
