Back at Barnutopia! This venue is so brilliant for couples wanting to do things exactly their own way as well as having space for all their nearest and dearest to camp - all in all the best festival wedding venue!

Beth & Richard chose to have their ceremony here as well, with a view of the gorgeous welsh hills behind them - led by Rich’s Best Woman who did a fantastic job. I love it when couples get friends or family to officiate the marriage as it gives so much room for personal elements (I am in the process of writing a blog post helping you design your own wedding ceremony as well!)

They bucked tradition by having a best-woman and a brides-man (i love it when couples don’t feel they need to follow convention) and also had a banging afternoon tea in lieu of a three course meal which was very welcome in the heat.

I loved shooting this wedding because everything was just so relaxed & chilled, Beth & Richard were totally in the moment enjoying drinking with their friends and family which meant i was able to capture so many candid moments and funny goings on. My favourite kind of wedding. Two of my favourites below are them both shotting something out of a hipflask one after the other!

These guys also get extra couple points because they sent me a CHRISTMAS TREE! as a thank you present last year! Absolutely genius, it was a tiny one that fitted through my letter box and was so welcome as the flat is a bit too small to have a proper one. I was over the moon.
